Images I make are simple and refined, the focus is on the talent, rather than anything distracting with style or backgrounds. I accomplish this with simple lighting, extensive retouching to remove distractions, and simple directions with the emphasis on what you can do – not taking things as far as to make your emotions look fake or pushed.

I feel that fashion is a state of mind, and fashion photography is an art form that takes something and turn it into a feeling and expression. This happens on many levels, and can go from experimental editorial style fashion photography, to a more restrained and refined commercial photography. It depends on your needs, the intended use and audience, and what the images need to accomplish.
