Thank you for viewing my black and white collection. All images were taken between Jan 2010 and mid 2008. The film of choice is Ilford Delta 400 or 100, with maybe one or two shots of HP5 thrown in there. I choose to push process film due to the grain, and I love the contrast that it gets me. I mainly use a RB67 with a 90mm lens as my camera of choice, but I will also use a Olympus Epic Stylus Dlx (35mm), and a Yashica T4 (35mm), as well as my Calumet 4x5 view camera with a 150mm lens.

I feel my images are a extension of newsprint in the 40's and 50's – which I also think of as almost gothic in a way. This is high contrast, blacks, a lot of grain, and retouched so it almost looks old and from a period that was a long time ago.
